Don’t forget to backstitch at the beginning and the end of all your stitching!
All seam allowances are 1 cm. Seam allowances are included.
Cut out all pieces of fabric. Then sew these pieces together one by one (with right sides together) – follow the step-by-step instruction in the pictures below.
Start from the eyes. First sew to each other pieces in order D – F – D (as shown in the picture). To the newly created part sew both pieces B (look at the picture). You’ve just made the yellow eye.
Now, in the same way, you will make the second eye – but white one. First sew to eachother pieces in order E – F – E. To the newly created part sew both pieces C. Now you have both eyes. Then sew these eyes together.
To this part sew both pieces G and then both pieces A (look at the picture below). Now you should make the mouth of your robot – sew to each other pieces I – H – I.
To this part sew piece J. Now, the last thing you have to do in order to create the front of your pillow is sewing together the eyes-part and the mouth-part.
You’ve just made the front of your pillow. Now you’ve 2 pieces of your pillow – front piece and back piece (K). Place these pieces (with right sides together) and sew along the edges, but leave the 15 cm opening in the center of one side of the pillow (to put the pillow stuffing).
Now, you can clip the 4 corners of the pillow close to the seam. Make sure you don’t clip the stitches! Turn the pillow right side out and fill your pillow with the pillow stuffing. Then, all you have to do is closing up the gap – sew near to the edge. You can also use a hand stitch to close the opening.
Finished pillow: measures 40 x 40 cm.
